NEW HABIT PLAN

This very thorough package incorporates aspects of our other packages, plus additional benefits to really ensure you maximise and achieve your goals.

The New Habit plan is named after numerous studies dating back to the work of Dr Maxwell Maltz.

If you want to learn a new habit or break an old one it roughly takes 4 weeks.  You need to repeat something daily for 4 weeks if you want it to stick and become a new habit.  Lack of discipline, knowledge, work & social commitments, and a variety of other factors cause the initial efforts to go to waste and lead you nowhere.  This is where Guardian Angel Fitness and Lifestyle steps in.

Your GAFL expert truly acts as a guardian angel, hidden in the background of your day to day activities (except when training), only appearing to save you from the bad and ensure you choose the good.  Depending on your needs and requirements not only will your GAFL expert coach and train your fitness, prepare all your meals, educate you about healthy living and lifestyle, but is happy to be with you during your daily routine – say you have a business lunch, your GAFL expert will be there to ensure you choose the best meals on the menu.  You’re working late hours? Your GAFL expert can shadow you throughout the day to ensure you stick to your diet & to squeeze in effective training when you wouldn’t think you had time. Your motivation wanes the minute you leave the gym? Your GAFL expert will be there throughout the day to remind you of your goals, progress and to keep you enthused and motivated towards achieving a better you.  Continuously forming and building habits that will continue long after your live in trainer has gone.

The diet and nutrition element of any health and fitness plan is where many people fail.  There are so many diets around now from the Atkins to the Cabbage soup diet.  How healthy are these diets, and more importantly if they taste poor or the food is bland how long are you going to stick to them?  As with all our programs we will prepare and provide you with delicious and nutritious meals, or when eating out guide you to the best choice on the menu.  But what happens when your expert has gone?  Going back to your old eating habits would be counterproductive.  So having your meals provided is the first step.  The second is to teach you how to shop healthy and cook healthy.  So you can continue to eat delicious nutritious meals long after your GAFL expert has left.  You can even show off your new found culinary skills to friends and family.

From our initial discussions and at the start of our program, we will set achievable fitness & lifestyle goals you intend to achieve then tailor a plan around smashing these in the most enjoyable and safest way.  We don’t believe in monotonous training, placing you in the treadmill for an hour while we flex our muscles in the mirror, this will get no results for anyone.  We incorporate various aspects of training into our programs to keep you achieving results & more importantly to ensure you enjoy the workouts and don’t become bored.  This is a cycle known to sports psychologists as do, think, feel.  Doing something new and seeing results, makes you think more positive towards achieving your goals, making you feel more inclined to continue trying new routines and concepts, doing them will see more results and the cycle goes on and on – resulting in a fitter, healthier, more confident you.  Just some of the fitness elements we may incorporate into your time with us include- gym work, high intensity interval training (HIIT), boxing, plyometrics, kettle bells, Pilates, massage or various other sports.

At the end of our time together, you will be a fitter healthier person, achieving your goals we set out 4 weeks previous.  You will know how to shop for healthy food, prepare healthy nutritious meals, and choose the right foods when eating out.  When it comes to fitness you will be aware how to train specific body parts, how to stay motivated when training, and how to maintain or improve your fitness to new personal bests.  You will also be given an exercise program to continue and a comprehensive diet book just in case you forget what your GA expert has taught you.  And don’t forget these new habits will be formed so you’ll be continuing and loving your new lifestyle.
